Research by the National Council of Camps indicates that camp is a place where children can mature socially, emotionally, intellectually, morally and physically. Camp is a valuable experience in which your child can develop important new skills.

Our staff are mature professionals with years of teaching and camping experience or highly trained college-age students hand picked for the job. In the structured and time-proven environment at Rambling Pines, your child will play and learn with these positive role models who take time to listen, to talk, to encourage, to understand and to give personal attention to your child.

Nestled in the nearby Sourland Mountains, Rambling Pines' extraordinary facility is a great place where kids can do all kinds of fun things.

Our camp schedule features special days and special weeks when campers go all out doing new and different things. From Circus Week to Disney Week, from Costume Day to Crazy Hat Day, there's always something new and different going on at Rambling Pines.

The Club Concept is an idea we've pioneered. For second graders and above, we offer elective activities that give more flexibility to scheduling, allowing kids to take advantage of the special talents of our staff. Clubs change from year to year. In past years we've had sign language, jewelry making, photography, model rocketry, basketball clinic, snorkeling, ropes course and more.

Camp is about having summer fun. But it's also about so much more: learning to work together, make choices, take responsibility, develop creative skills, gain independence, and enhance self-esteem and self-reliance - all necessary steps on a youngster's path to a healthy, productive life.

Day Camp (5 full days), Mini Camp (3 full days) and Mini Day (5 half days) are our camp options for little ones. They receive all the attention your very important child deserves. Mini programs are available only for children age 3 through those entering kindergarten. Our "Pine Cone" campers experience a complete camp program - arts, crafts, music, dance, plays, gymnastics, computer, sports, nature studies. centers and more, all totally appropriate to the young camper's age, attention span, and energy level. Red Cross certified swimming instruction is provided daily.  For 8th to 10th graders who are looking for excitement, but who still need structure in their summer lives, the Ramblers Teen Camp is the way to go!  It is a perfect mix of supervised day trips two days a week and the use of our 225 acre site the other three days. It's structure with freedom too.

Each of us is committed to helping your child grow and develop in the fun and safe environment at Rambling Pines.
